It has been a busy week at work, it's the end of the month and the end of the fiscal year. We have been trying so hard to do the sales plan everyday so that we are positive on the year. I think is doable, we can make it. It has been tough on the retail side lately, January is slow and then so many returns. But that's the business cycle, it's up and down then but...but...but one thing for sure is we are making our year and plus.

Kudos to the teamwork, I am proud of it.

I have been partying on my weekend off and oh boy! I'm tired. Another birthday party today but I don't think I will be able to be there, hubby is taking us to the mountains. Kids have been wanting to go specially my snowborder boy. So we are going to take them there and let them have fun. It has been a while since I went to Breckenridge, so this time will be great.

Gotta go and start getting ready.

One great thing about my kids’ school is that they allow each parent the freedom to communicate as much as they’d like with their children’s teachers. Gone are the days of waiting for a parent-teacher conference to address an issue—if you have a concern or a question, you can email the teacher right that very second to get an answer. It’s wonderful. When they initially debuted this service, we weren’t able to interact with the teacher, because we actually did not have an internet connection. I knew I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to speak to the teachers in real time, so I searched and searched for a solution. I finally stumbled across Hughes net Virginia. I was able to sign up for satellite internet, and I now have the ability to talk to each of my children’s teachers whenever I want. I might be taking advantage, come to think of it. I have probably sent three emails already this week, asking about a variety of pretty unimportant things, I guess. I hope they don’t mind.

Change of plan, I will be working an 8 hour shift today. I was looking forward for a shorter shift but it's not going to happen. I'll take it and hopefully, it will be great day. Busy and everything will go smoothly. It's cold today and looks like it might snow. It's that time, it's winter and what can you expect? Except snow, cold just that.

It's suppose to be my day off today but most of time it never happens. There's always something came up that I have to go and rescue the day. That's what I did, the fact that is was snowing makes it more difficult. But I did it, made the plan, did the stretch overall made the week's plan. Hopefully tomorrow I can finally relax and not be called again. A girl needs a weekend off once in a while. :)

We had a fun time welcoming the New Year! We were over at a friend's house and it was fantastic. We went there late since I have to close an it closed around 7:30 pm. Then went home and get there. It was fine since everyone is waiting for the clock to strike @12am  then the party begins. Happy New Year, I wish everyone good health, happiness, more blessings and to stay in love with Christ. For everything is possible when you believe. :)

Christmas just went like a blink of an eye. And we are waiting to welcome a New Year! Pretty exciting, cause New Year brings new possiblilities to everyone of us. Hopefully this year will be better than last year, economy wise, employment etc. Hope everyone will be able to smile again and not to worry if there will be a job for them the next day. So everyone needs a good start this coming year. Goodluck!

In two days, it's Christmas. Kids can't wait what Santa brings. They are excited beyond words. Christmas is really for kids, the happiness they feel inside is priceless. Anticipating, waiting, everything is so exciting to them. I remember it myself. Although back then, we don't have enough gifts, but being together was the most exciting part for me. I won't forget it and will not exchange it for the world. It was an awesome time for the whole family, being together!

It's a beautiful Sunday we have here but I was working the whole day. I can't believe Christmas is a week away, yet I haven't done with my shopping and gifts. I am really bad when it comes to this. I always put it off and then panic at the last minute. I told myself not to do this time, we'll see. I need to finish it in a day or two before everthing gets crazy then no more time for it. :)

A very busy day today and glad it's over. I had a long shift and it was crazy. Home now and relaxing to my heart's content. It's also the kids last week of school, Friday is their last day and yes! Vacation time. They will just be at home since I have to work longer hours this holiday season.
